Our history

How we got here

Today, the Trustly Americas team represents a combination of PayWithMyBank, a Silicon Valley startup founded in 2012 and Trustly AB of Sweden. The two companies merged in 2019 to form the leading global Open Banking Payments network.

Today, our team represents 30 nationalities, and we serve 8,300 merchants, connecting them with 650 million consumers and 12,000 banks in over 33 countries. We currently process over $42 billion in annualized transaction volume on our global network.
